Though Concord has shuttered its doors just two weeks after launch, it seems it's story isn't quite over.
Concord to Stay in Amazon's Secret Level TV Show Despite Shutdown

Following the news that Concord would be shutting down just two weeks after its initial launch, many turned their attention to Amazon's upcoming anthology series, Secret Level.

Revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live, Secret Level is an upcoming animated series with stories centered around gaming franchise new and old, including God of War, Pac-Man, and Concord. The series is set to debut on December 10, 2024 and will feature 15 gaming franchises in total.

However, with Concord's future now uncertain, it seems strange that the IP will get its own animated feature.  Amazon's Prime Video have yet to formally announce whether or not Concord will remain part of the show, But a source close to the production reportedly told IGN that it will.

Part of Concord's downfall was due to its poor sales and player count. Releasing on both PC and PS5, at launch on August 23, 2024 Concord reached its peak player count on steam — 697 players. Sadly, the numbers never rose which, for a first party title, is bad news.

As of today, September 6, Concord's servers have been taken offline. Sony have yet to reveal what will eventually happen with Concord, issuing a statement saying they would be looking to "explore options, including those that will better reach our players."

Players who purchased the game on PS5 or PC will be issued full refunds.
