Update - And here's your first look at the new Twisted Metal TV show.
Original Story - The Twisted Metal live-action TV series based on the timeless games finally has an official US air date - 27th July 2023 - as well as a first sneak peek at the series through a poster via IGN.
Also according to IGN, a teaser trailer for the series will be released tomorrow, 28 April 2023.
The series will feature ten half-hour-long episodes, featuring “a motor-mouthed outsider who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.”
The series' full cast list has already been released. Sweet Tooth will be voiced by Will Arnett and played by Samoa Joe. Raven will be played by Neve Campbell. Other stars, such as Tahj Vaughans, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Mike Mitchell, and Lou Beatty Jr will also star in the Twisted Metal TV show.
The Twisted Metal TV show was first announced in 2019 before production began in 2021; work on the TV show started almost 30 years after the release of the first Twisted Metal game back in 1995. In just a few months, fans will be able to see the series they've long been waiting on.
