It's time to return to the swampy melancholic lands of the Velen, and the windy optimistic shores of Skellige, as The Witcher 3's free next-gen update drops on 14th December 2022.
The next-gen update is free on all platforms, including PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. CD Projekt Red has packed a plethora of new stuff, including features like raytraced global illumination, ambient occlusion, and more. While console players get their usual performance and quality modes, PC players get additional mod support and PC-exclusive features like DLSS 3 support and Ultra+ graphics setting.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen System Requirements (Specs)
Unfortunately, as of this writing, CDPR has yet to reveal the official next-gen system requirements for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC.

As mentioned previously, the next-gen update of The Witcher 3 on PC has several exclusive features. The two major features include the DLSS 3 support and the Ultra+ graphics settings. The Ultra+ graphics include the following attributes:
