Maria Flores has been a major part of the Texas Chain Saw Massacre game's lore since the game was released, and as of 11 June, she'll be a playable Victim, too. Maria will join the game alongside Hands, the newest Slaughter Family Member, as Gun Interactive announced in an X/Twitter post today.
The post included a trailer for Maria's introduction to the game. You can check it out for yourself just below:
Known leaker dvveet also posted some data mined voice lines from other characters, that will play when they discover Maria's body:
In the game's lore, Maria is a college student who goes missing; her sister, Ana Flores (another playable character), gets together a search party to look for her. The group is captured, resulting in the grisly trials of the Texas Chain Saw Massacre game. Prior to the announcement, Maria was not a playable character in TCSM; instead she was strictly a character in the story. Now, players will be able to take on the role of Maria Flores for themselves.
Gun Interactive confirmed that like other characters, Maria will be purchasable for $9.99.
