Don't like making friends or just want to play South Park Snow Day alone? Don't worry, prospective new kids, even if you are as lonely as Kip Drordy, before Stan's battle on Facebook, we've got some good news to share.
We'll explain if you can play South Park Snow Day alone (solo) once it releases on 26 March 2024, so let's grab some Cheesy Poofs and slide in...
South Park Snow Day Solo Play Possible?
Those who like to play alone will be happy to know that you can play South Park Snow Day solo despite the game being built as a multiplayer co-op experience for you and up to three friends. No need to contact Dr Alphonse Mephisto to clone you some friends!
The confirmation we have on this comes from the gameplay trailer, where Eric Cartman says:
Now you can play alone or with three of your closest friends - unless you don't have any friends, then you can just join matchmaking and play with randos.
Furthermore, we can confirm that South Park Snow Day has bots, as one of the game's official features notes:
Experience cooperative gameplay for the first time ever in a South Park game with up to three friends or ally bots - unleashing powerful, coordinated attacks on your foes.
What we don't know right now is if the solo South Park Snow Day experience will be any fun or how well it is balanced. Does it REQUIRE bots, or can you be truly alone? We will update this article as soon as we know more.
Remember, you can always queue up via matchmaking and play with "randos" if you don't have any friends online.
