Are you wondering if South Park Snow Day has crossplay functionality or cross-saves at launch for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch? You are not alone, new kids!
In this consistently-updated guide, we will explain if South Park Snow Day features cross-play, what the word is from the developers about this feature, and more, so let's use "fart escape" and leap in.
Update on 28 March 2024: We can confirm that South Park Snow Day does not have crossplay at launch. This might change in the future if the devs add the feature.
South Park Snow Day Crossplay?
We are already counting down to the release of South Park Snow Day on 26 March 2024, so we can use the fart-based powers in co-op with "up to three friends" in an attempt to save the town of South Park during an epic blizzard.
Oddly enough, despite the developers revealing the game features matchmaking, there is absolutely no word to either confirm or deny the existence of crossplay in South Park Snow Day. In the official gameplay trailer, Eric Cartman says this about matchmaking and playing with friends:
Now you can play alone or with three of your closest friends - unless you don't have any friends, then you can just join matchmaking and play with randos.
The same goes for cross-saves. There is currently no word if South Park Snow Day will support cross-saves.
Importantly, most modern games, especially multiplayer titles released on different platforms, feature some kind of crossplay or cross-save functionality.
