Will Smite 1 Legacy Skins Transfer To Smite 2?
Most legacy skins from Smite 1 will not directly transfer to Smite 2. However, there are exceptions—specifically, skins added in Season 11 and selected cross-gen skins will be transferable to Smite 2.
However, for the non-transferable skins, players are introduced to the Divine Legacy and Legacy Gems systems explained below.
How Does The Legacy Gem System Work In Smite 2?
Legacy Gems will work as a form of compensation. Veteran players (i.e., those from the predecessor) will receive Legacy Gems in Smite 2, which is equivalent to every gem they spent in Smite 1, regardless of whether these gems were purchased or obtained for free.
These Legacy Gems can, in turn, be used in Smite 2 to pay for up to 50% of the price of most in-game purchases—this includes a variety of items such as skins, Battle Passes, and event entries.
Essentially, Legacy Gems allows players to buy items in Smite 2 at half-price until all the Legacy Gems are spent. If a player purchases the Founder’s Pack in Smite 2, their Legacy Gems will be doubled, enhancing their purchasing power in the game.
