Juan “Hungrybox” Debiedma teamed up with Team Liquid and NFL star Le’Veon Bell to create The Box earlier this month, and now it’s set for a major expansion.
The Smash player announced The Box will become a weekly tournament starting Wednesday 3rd June with The Juicebox, which will be an open tournament.
On the last Wednesday of each month, there’ll also be a subscriber-only tournament called The Lunchbox - with details yet to be announced on if it'll differ in any capacity.
It's time to expand The Box.

Introducing the newest weekly offered by myself and Team Liquid: The Juicebox.
Every Wednesday at 6PM Eastern, streamed on my channel.
With a Sub-Only tourney, The Lunchbox, at the end of each month.
Registration is live: https://t.co/6uRH2J7omT pic.twitter.com/zW2jrY5Z2z
Registration for the first event has already hit capacity, so you’ll have to be extra quick if you want a chance to battle against the top players.
Unfortunately, the tournament is region locked to North America (Canada, United States, Mexico) along with The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands - so Europeans are out of the running.
The Box earlier this month saw Spencer “BestNess” Garner take the $10k top prize, after defeating Gavin “Tweek Dempsey in a straight 3-0 set.
