In Roblox's Project Mugetsu, each race comes with a unique ability symbolizing their ultimate power. Hollows wield Resurrección, Shinigami possess Bankai, and the newly introduced Quincy race features Volstanding. To access this ability as a Quincy, players must fulfill challenging tasks, which can be daunting without assistance.
Fortunately, our guide offers a comprehensive walkthrough on unlocking Volstanding. Let's delve into the specifics of how Quincy players can achieve this powerful transformation in Project Mugetsu.
How To Unlock Your Volstanding in Project Mugetsu
To unlock your Volstanding as a Quincy in Project Mugetsu, there are a couple of steps you need to follow, with the first being that you need to become a Quincy at the beginning of the game, so be sure to check out our Quincy guide here if you haven't done it before. Once you're a Quincy, you'll now need to go through the process of getting your Volstanding, which can be summarized as follows:
- Seek out the Douda NPC in the game world (you'll meet him when becoming a Quincy as well).
- Complete his kill quest, which requires that you kill 35 Shinigami in the world. These cannot be NPCs, though, and only other players WITH a Shikai will be counted.
- Once completed, you will be given a Medallion that, when interacted with, will transport you to “Quincy Mind”, and while exploring this area, you’ll have to beat the obstacle course whilst answering a total of 8 Bleach anime/manga-related questions.
- When you reach the end of the obstacle course, you need to defeat your Volstanding.
- Once defeated, you will obtain your Volstanding.
Project Mugetsu Volstanding Unlocking Tips
Now there are a few things to note when it comes to these steps, with the main thing to note being the Quincy Mind area and answering all 8 of the questions while traversing the obstacles in the area. These questions are based on the Bleach universe, and correct answers will deactivate the traps in the area, but answering the questions incorrectly means the traps will remain active (you only have 4 seconds to answer!).
So, we recommend having a Bleach fan hop in with you to help you answer these questions, as they range from the beginning of Bleach to the 1000-year Blood War arc and beyond. And if you die before reaching the end of the course, either by getting caught by the traps or falling during the obstacles, you'll need to start back at the beginning, making this one of the hardest challenges to do in the game.
For your convenience though, here are some (only some as the questions can randomize and more get added over time) of the 8 questions and answers you might see during the questions portion of the run:
- Kisuke Urahara Shop # – 13
- Litto Hair Color – Blonde
- Yachiru’s Shikai – Hollow Consumption

- First Captain – Ukitake

Ultimately, this is one of those sections that you'll just need to keep retrying until you get it right with some luck and get questions you know the answers to. Once completed, you'll face your Volstanding, and once defeated, you'll unlock your Volstanding form. This form comes with two powerful abilities so far called Deathdealing and Explosion, which are extremely overpowered (as they should be given the effort it takes to get them).
And since the Quincy race is still new to the game, we expect some new abilities to come soon, but for now, there are only these two. As always, we will be sure to give you all a detailed breakdown of any new abilities added to the Volstandings as they become available, so be sure to check out our dedicated Roblox section here for the latest Volstanding updates as well as general Project Mugestu guides, codes, news, and more.
