Hunters Patch Notes (April 2025): Fixes, Balance Changes & Content

PVP:

• You can now fight against other players in an arena-like setting! A new map has been specifically made for this game-mode
• Both players spawn in with three lives, and the match ends when one player loses all three
• Right now, PvP is casual only, so there are no rewards yet, just a way to test your builds and have fun fighting others
• Keep in mind that PvP still needs a lot of balancing work to do in it, so just see of it as a public play-test
• You CAN queue in private servers! It is a queue that looks for players across every server, so you shouldn't need to worry about finding other people

INVENTORY/UI REWORK:

The inventory has been completely reworked. It’s now cleaner, easier to read, and faster to navigate

Should help a lot when scrolling through gear, especially with all the new rarities being added

NEW VANITY INDEX SYSTEM:

There is now also a new comprehensive index feature that you use in order to preview your vanities and see the buffs that are applied for wearing each one 

LOOT ADDITIONS:

• Two new rarities have been added: Peak Mythical and Peak Legendary
• These are now the highest tier drops in the game
• You can only start finding them after unlocking a new Scroll found in Spider Caverns (Nightmare mode)
• NEW LEGENDARY COSMETIC ITEMS:
• Arachnid Slayer Set - The set has the entire armor-piece and a weapon cosmetic for each weapon class

NEW PEAK LEGENDARY SKILLS:

• Each weapon type has received one new skill in the Peak Legendary tier
• Ignis Fall (Magic): Summon a series of fireballs falling from the sky exploding upon impact leaving behind scorched grounds that erupts after a few seconds
• Mutilate (Daggers): Enter into a stat of intense focus & slice through all enemies with unimaginable speed inside your radius
• Skyfall Slam (Greatsword): Leap high into the sky and stab your sword deep into the ground creating an explosion upon impact & release a devastating blast that knocks enemies up into the sky
• Whirlwind (Sword): Gather momentum by spinning your sword in circles rapidly & finish off with three big slashes that knocks enemies back

NEW PEAK MYTHICAL ITEM SETS:

• Three new sets have been added under the Peak Mythical tier. These only drop after unlocking the Scroll from Spider Caverns:
• Spectral Set - Seraph Set - Astral Weave Set

QoL & Misc:

• Fixed inventory bug on Console where it would occasionally glitch or freeze
• You now automatically equip a stick if you unequip any weapon
• Added the option to hide other's VFX
• Added the option to hide other's armor
• Added the option to hide your hair
• Added Custom walks for all weapons
• Added new custom stance for dual daggers
• Added the option to auto-equip your best equipment all at once
• Added the ability to lock your items (to prevent them from being deleted on accident)
• Added the option to sell all your items
• Ant King visual imperfections fixed

• Buffed Crystal drop chances from 1% to 2-6% depending on dungeon difficulty
• Buffed Dual Daggers drop chance from 0.5% to 2%
• Fixed hide helmet making you bald when turning on/off
• Fixed iFrame on boss roars & movement
• Fixed starting Stick showing as a glove
• Bug fixes regarding custom rigs and colliding with invisible barriers causing them to glitch through
• Increased Mage type enemies fireball cooldowns by 1.5x
• Reduced Mage type enemies movement speed drastically, and disabled sprint within a certain radius

• Fixed the Spider Cavern, Spiderlings dealing EXTREME reduced damage
• Fixed a issue with not being able to complete the Spider Cavern in extremely rare cases
• Fixed a issue with rolls at max level sometimes wouldn't show the item received
• Fixed a issue with Spider Cavern boss Zyreth sometimes glitching through the floor, and not appearing in the Cavern.
• Patched multiple Exploits
• Fixed damage scaling, so you now have proper damage scaling.
