According to an announcement by The Pokémon Company, the Pokémon franchise is getting a new three-part web series called Pokémon: Hisuian Snow.
The new series will be set in the Hisui region from Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and the show is planned to release in late May 2022. Here's everything we know so far, including the show's plot, its characters, and exactly when it will be released.
Pokémon Hisuian Snow coming to YouTube and Pokemon TV
While Pokémon: Hisuian Snow is based on Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the series will feature new characters and explore new relationships and stories in the Pokémon universe.
Pokémon: Hisuian Snow plot
The Hisuian Snow stories will follow a young boy named Alec and his Hisuian Zorua as Alec bonds with the Pokémon. The Hisui region, as explained in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, is a past version of the popular Sinnoh region.

Pokémon: Hisuian Snow is set during a time and place where Pokémon cannot coexist, making Alec and his Zorua's friendship and story together much more meaningful.
"When he was younger, Alec's father taught him that people and Pokémon cannot live together," the series' official description on the Pokemon site reads. "But Alec's interactions with the Zorua might offer a different lesson."
Where to watch Pokémon Hisuian Snow
Pokémon: Hisuian Snow will be a three-part web series, and will be released on 18th May 2022 on both Youtube and Pokémon TV.
Because Pokémon: Hisuian Snow is a web series, it won't be coming to television. Instead, you'll be able to catch the action online on Pokémon TV and through the official Pokémon channel on YouTube.
Pokémon: Hisuian Snow will be directed by WIT Studio, the studio that directed Attack on Titan and various Pokémon movies. Pokémon: Hisuian Snow is coming out later this month, and now you know exactly what to expect out of the new series and where to watch it.
