Trainers looking to make purchases to use in-game will require an existing or recently created account to log into the Pokémon GO Web Store. This can be achieved by clicking on the "Sign In" top button right of the page, and you can enter your login credentials to gain access to the Pokémon GO Web Store regardless if you're currently signed into the game.
According to Niantic, the Pokémon GO Web Store is available in these supported countries and territories:
- Australia
- Denmark
- Finland
- Germany
- Great Britain
- Japan
- Norway
- Singapore
- South Korea
- Sweden
- United States
Trainers can utilize their Google or Facebook accounts to log in. You can add another login method or make purchases in-game if you have none of these supported methods. Once successfully logged in, you can make purchases and view your Trainer Profile, payment details, history, and PokéCoins balance.
How To Buy Items At The Pokémon GO Web Store?
As for PokéCoins, these are the in-game currency that is used to purchase all items available from the in-game Shop and the Pokémon GO Web Store. However, the PokéCoins cannot be bought using PokéCoins as these require real-world money to be acquired depending on the local currency.
This is visible after logging into the Pokémon GO Web Store, which will be the set currency used for all purchases made and for refunding items. According to a Niantic Support page, specific payment methods have been approved for purchases through their "authorized global distributor."
These include American Express, Cash App, Discover, Maestro, Mastercard, and Visa; however, any other payment option not listed could still be functional at the Checkout. If you receive the 3030 error code, the payment option provided is unsupported in your country or region.
