The Season of Hidden Gems welcomed returning Pokémon to new five-star and Mega Raids, with the season also including Shadow Raids with Shadow Articuno appearing in June 2023. Unfortunately, recently Trainers have incurred a technical issue regarding Remote Raid Passes and, as such, cannot participate in five-star Raids featuring Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf.
This June, these legendary Pokémon from the Sinnoh region will appear in a special Global Raid event. So, we’ve opened up our PokéDex as we’ve detailed everything about the Global Raid event featuring Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf and updates on the Remote Raid Pass for Pokémon GO.

This Global Raid event was made possible due to multiple reports of Trainers unsuccessfully being able to participate in their five-star Raids at the start of the Season of Hidden Gems on 1st June 2023. These reports detailed that many experienced technical difficulties implementing the Remote Raid Pass to access these five-star Raids.
Additionally, Niantic announced that the weekend of 10th to 11th June 2023, between 12 am and 11:59 pm local time, all Trainers could be a part of Remote Raids with the max cap at 15 Remote Raids daily. As such, these featured Pokémon will be appearing to Trainers in the following regions and territories, as previously confirmed by the developer:
- Uxie: 11th June 2023 between 11 am to 5 pm local time (Asia-Pacific only)
- Mesprit: 11th June 2023 between 11 am to 5 pm local time (Africa, Europe, India & Middle East only)

These legendary Pokémon will appear more frequently during Raids for the duration of the Global Raid event and in their respective regions, according to Niantic. As previously stated, the developer has increased the daily limit of Remote Raids you can participate in. During the dates specified above, you can join up to 15 Remote Raids and increase your chances of catching a Shiny Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf.
Pokémon GO Uxie, Mesprit & Azelf Global Raid: Remote Raid Pass Compensation
Lastly, the developer issued a statement apologizing to the Pokémon GO community for the technical issues experienced while using Remote Raid Passes for the ongoing Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf Raids. This issue was reportedly confirmed to have occurred between 1st and 5th June 2023 between 10 am and 8 pm PST, and we will be issuing compensation shortly.
For those impacted by this technical faux pas, Niantic will return all Remote Raid Passes to Trainers who had used them during these five-star Raids. Additionally, they’ll receive a bonus Remote Raid Pass which can be utilized for future Raids during the Season of Hidden Gems.
