Types Of Keys In Phasmophobia
There are two different types of keys in Phasmophobia. One key is called the Main Door Key. This key is the most important key in the game and lets you access the house within a map. You usually can't start ghost-hunting without picking up the Main Door Key from your starting van.
The other type of key is called the Car Key. The Car Key can be used to silence cars if a ghost begins setting off their car alarms. Car Keys are found on the following maps:
- Edgefield Street House
- Tanglewood Street House
- Willow Street House
- Ridgeview Road House
If you need to find a Car Key to silence a car that a pesky ghost turned on, you'll need to look on nightstands, small tables, and other surfaces throughout the house. Look carefully, as keys are quite a small item compared to others in Phasmophobia.
How To Use Keys In Phasmophobia
Keys are one of the easiest items to use in Phasmophobia. As for the Main Door Key, all you'll need to do is approach the front door with the key in hand and left-click; the door will open right up for you.
The Car Key, on the other hand, requires you to take a few extra steps. First, you'll need to find the car that the ghost set off and approach it. You will then need to left-click the car with the Car Key in your hand. If the ghost turns the car horn back on again, just follow those steps again.
