Most of Phasmophobia's weekly challenges are just that - challenges - tasking players with extremely hard challenges in exchange for a huge reward. The Deja Vu challenge is a little different. While the Deja Vu challenge does have a large payout, it's not a very hard challenge and it takes players on a trip down memory lane.
How To Complete "Deja Vu" Challenge In Phasmophobia
The Deja Vu challenge essentially takes players back to how Phasmophobia used to be. For veteran players, it'll be a walk in the park - items have been significantly nerfed over time, making the old ones easier to use by comparison - while beginners might have to get used to this new mode. To win it, you'll need to correctly identify 3 ghosts on 6 Tanglewood Drive, the game's easiest house.
Here are some tips on how to complete the Deja Vu challenge, and how things are different from Phasmophobia today.
Use Your Thermometer
The Thermometer used to be an exceptionally strong item in Phasmophobia. Certain temperatures could confirm that you're in the Ghost Room, or that a ghost has Freezing Temperatures evidence. Use this to your advantage, and use the Thermometer to help you find the ghost room.
Quickly Find The Ghost Room
On that note, you'll want to find the ghost room quickly, since it's a lot easier in this mode. Look for a room with cold temperatures, and perhaps other forms of ghost activity, like items being thrown or responses to your Spirit Box.
Loop The Ghost
As this is a relatively easy challenge and you can go through your normal ghost-hunting process for the most part, you likely won't run into too many obstaces; however, it's still very possible that the ghost could initiate a Hunt, especially if you're unlucky enough to get a particularly aggressive ghost. If that's the case, it's important to know how to loop ghosts, and hide from them when necessary.
