Developer Singularity 6 published their Developer Update for their cozy MMO, Palia, on 19th March 2024, detailing gameplay content and features arriving to the game in the next patch update. The v0.178 patch update, which launches on 25th March 2024, will add plenty of new content for players to enjoy, including the next temple, the Temple of the Roots, for which a new temple questline will be added and available to complete.

Regarding its location, players have reported finding the Temple of the Roots, commonly referred to as the Earth Temple, in Bahari Bay. If they're in Bahari Bay, they can travel to The Outskirts Stable board or take the direct route to Bahari Bay from their Housing Plot.

Next, they head east towards Proudhorn Pass, where they must locate the fields and find the temple, denoted by a flickering green earth element engraved on an archway at its entrance. The developer provided a few teases in the Developer Update regarding the Temple of the Roots, which will introduce some new mechanics for players to discover but still needs to be expanded.

This temple is teased about being connected to the Galdurs, and players have befriended two Galdurs, namely Einar and Hekla, who may be involved in this temple questline. Additionally, as the theme for the 0.178 patch update is centered on the Spring season, there will be plenty of flowers adorning the temple's main area, which will guide players with directions to make navigation much easier than their experiences inside the Temple of the Gales.

It's not clear if the reworking of the climbing mechanic will also improve traversal inside the temple, as players are to wait until 25th March 2024 for the update to be released.
