Since the launch of Palia in its Open Beta, players have been mining over Bahari Bay’s resident miner, Hodari, and as of the 0.170 patch update, became a Romanceable character. Nevertheless, before being able to swoon him, they’ll need to become friends with Hodari, which starts with the Mine Mystery Friendship quest.

Unlocked after reaching Friendship level 2, Hodari has put in a simple request, but Najuma’s concerns about ghosts haunting the mines have left him unbothered. Palia Mine Mystery Friendship Quest Objectives List

Mine Mystery is the Friendship Level 2 quest for Hodari, the Mining Skill Gild Master and dad to inventor prodigy Najuma. Like other Friendship quests, this can only start when players have reached Friendship level 2 with Hodari, which they can find in Kilima Village during the day or back at Paval Mines in the evening.

Players are to speak with Hodari to learn that there’s something ominous happening at the mines that even has Najuma’s attention, thus forbidding her from exploring it. How To Complete The Mine Mystery Friendship Quest In Palia?

Once players have reached Friendship level 2 with Hodari, they can converse with him to receive the Mine Mystery Friendship quest. Sparing them with the details, he briefly explained that something’s going on with the mines and weirdly affecting Najuma, but he needs some Iron Ore, which can be found around Pavel Mines, the cave at Hideaway Bluffs, and at Proudhorn Pass.

Return to Hodari, depending on the time of day, can be at Kilima Village or at the entrance to Pavel Mines. Deliver the Iron Ores to Hodari, where they will need to wait some time before Najuma visits their Housing Plot.

She’ll explain that the mines have been haunted and are facing a ghost problem, which she tried to explain to her father. She’ll ask if they can explain Najuma’s concerns to Hodari, and he retorts that the mines are slowly depleted of their resources and, therefore, have to explore deeper, and he needs a light to help him.
