There are plenty of rewards, like Lucky Envelopes, to earn when participating in activities like the Chapaa Chase and the Hotpot Card Game. Additionally, there are rewards to claim after retrieving their Wish Ribbons, but there are a few Treasure Chests to be found across Kilima Village Fairgrounds during the Maji Market.
These unique event-themed chests, called Luna New Year Treasure Chests, are scattered throughout the area, hidden away from sight in various locations. We've provided a handy guide to help players find and collect all Luna New Year Treasure Chests for the Maji Market in Palia.
How To Find All The Luna New Year Treasure Chests In Palia?
Akin to the Winterlights Treasure Chests from the v0.174 patch update, the Maji Market holds a few secrets, including several Treasure Chests to be found at the Kilima Village Fairgrounds. These chests are linked to an Accomplishment from the Stamp Card, which there are six chests to find scattered throughout the location to unlock rewards.
There are six Luna New Year Treasure Chests to be found, each chest granting players unique rewards and the chest to keep. As mentioned in previous guides, players can give them to Tish as one of her General Gifts that can be gifted to her daily, but let's look at where they can find the Luna New Year Treasure Chests at the Maji Market for Palia:
- Luna New Year Treasure Chest #1: The first Luna New Year Treasure Chest can be located on the west side of the Kilima Village Fairgrounds by heading towards the mountains by Zeki's Prize Wheel, tucked away behind a tree.
- Luna New Year Treasure Chest #2: Head to Reth's Street Specialties stall southeast of the Wish Tree and look behind the oven to see it peeking outside the tent.
- Luna New Year Treasure Chest #3: This chest is located atop the stables near the Fast Travel Stable Board east of the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, which can be accessed by climbing the hill behind and gliding to the rooftop.
- Luna New Year Treasure Chest #4: Look for Najuma and Hodari's Firework Display Shop east of the Kilima Village Fairgrounds near the Amphitheatre and go behind the stall and look in one of the mine carts to loot the chest.
- Luna New Year Treasure Chest #5: Locate the gazebo east of the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, where they must climb the cliffs before gliding to the top of the gazebo before looting the chest.
- Luna New Year Treasure Chest #6: The last Luna New Year Treasure Chest can be found in the area of the Amphitheatre where the drums are located. Head south towards the coast and drop down to see the chest in the water against the wall.
Each time players loot a Luna New Year Treasure Chest, they'll be rewarded with Lucky Envelopes, which can be spent at various stalls found at the Maji Market. Once they've located and collected all six Luna New Year Treasure Chests, they'll unlock the Lucky Treasure Hunter Accomplishment, where they'll earn the New Year Wall Banner item to decorate their homes.
