Palia Switch Launch: Where To Get The Leapfroggy Outfit & Mushroom Glider

Developer Singularity 6 confirmed at The Game Awards 2023 that their cozy MMO, Palia, will finally make its way to Nintendo Switch consoles globally. To coincide with the game’s release, the developer has made some unique rewards available to claim in-game at launch.

Players must link their Palia account to the Nintendo Switch from the login menu to be eligible to get the Leapfroggy Outfit and the Mushroom Glider skin. Looking to start the new year in style, here’s how players can get the Leapfroggy Outfit and the Mushroom Glider skin in Palia.

How To Get The Leapfroggy Outfit And Mushroom Glider In Palia?

Following the official announcement trailer at The Game Awards 2023 confirming the release date for Palia’s Nintendo Switch release, developer Singularity 6 detailed new information regarding the upcoming release. This was explained in a recent developer post where they revealed limited-time Account Linking Rewards for players who successfully linked their Palia account when logging into the game on the Nintendo Switch.

The rewards that can be claimed are the Leapfroggy Outfit and the Mushroom Glider skin, available for players playing on the Nintendo Switch starting from 14th December 2023. However, the Leapfroggy Outfit will be active for a limited time to claim until 14th January 2024 at 11:59 pm PT / 2:59 am ET and 7:59 am UTC on 15th January 2024.

In order for players to receive the Nintendo Switch Account Linking Rewards, they’ll need to follow the steps provided below to claim them in-game for new and existing players:

Palia Account Linking – New Players:

1. Players will first need to create a Palia Account by heading to the game’s Accounts page
2. Click the “Create an account” option below the login box, where they’ll be redirected to the Sign Up and can fill in their login credentials.
3. Players can paste a Refer-A-Friend referral link on the Sign Up page, which can either be forwarded by an existing player or friend or by heading to the Refer-A-Friend channel on the official Palia Discord server before clicking the “Submit” button.
4. Having created an account, they can use the login credentials to log in to Palia on the Nintendo Switch, where there will be a prompt to link their Palia account to the Switch and press Y to continue the process.

Palia Account Linking – Existing Players:

1. This method is relatively straightforward as they must start the game on the Nintendo Switch to access the login screen
2. As mentioned before, they must link their Palia account to the console from the main menu and press Y to continue the login process and pick up the adventures in-game.

Once new and existing players have successfully logged into the game, they can navigate to the Inventory menu and locate the News tab at the top right of the screen. It’s here where they can find a newsletter from the developer where they can claim the Leapfroggy Outfit and Mushroom Glider skin and their Refer-A-Friend rewards.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
