The next big free-to-play title, Overwatch 2, is on the horizon, and Activision Blizzard has finally started to reveal more info on the game. For fans of the competitive hero shooters, this free-to-play iteration of Overwatch should have a lot to offer.
Ever since its reveal, Activision Blizzard has been suspiciously quiet about Overwatch. Thankfully, the wait is nearly over and the company has released a roadmap for Overwatch 2 Season 1.

Overwatch 2 Season 1 roadmap
The Overwatch 2 Season 1 will add new heroes, new maps, a new game mode, a new limited-time event, and more. Below you can find all of the available information listed so far.
Overwatch 2 Season 1 heroes
Overwatch 2 Season 1 begins on 4th October 2022. Three new heroes are coming to the game this season. They are - Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko. Premium battle pass owners will get immediate access to Kiriko, whereas free players will unlock her at tier 55.
Overwatch 2 Season 1 new maps
Overwatch 2 Season 1 adds six new maps to the game. They are -
Circuit Royal, Colosseo, Midtown, Rio de Janeiro, Esperanca Portugal, and New Queen Street.
Overwatch 2 Season 1 new game mode
Overwatch 2 Season 1 introduces one new 5v5 game mode called Push. It's the most aggressive control-style game mode in Overwatch 2 that requires much coordination between team members to be successful.
Push is designed specifically for Overwatch 2 and offers a more refined and fast-paced combat experience than anything the first Overwatch had to offer.
Overwatch 2 Season 1 new limited-time event
Overwatch 2 Season 1 is getting a new limited-time event called Junkenstein's Revenge: The Wrath of the Bride. The Halloween event will run from 25th October 2022 to 8th November 2022. No other details are available on this event as of this writing.
