On Thursday, Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp announced that Atlanta Esports Ventures has found a new home for the Atlanta Reign esports team.
Though no location has been determined for the new facility, the new headquarters is said to be in the proximity of a 13,000 square foot commercial property in West Midtown Atlanta and will be under the same name as Overwatch League team Atlanta Reign.
Atlanta Esports Ventures also recently announced Atlanta FaZe, a new Call of Duty League co-owned by FaZe Clan, signaling another leap in the right direction for esports in the Atlanta community. This is also an exciting time for Atlanta Reign, as they also announced the signing of Overwatch standout SharP to the team’s Overwatch League.
