With Overwatch 2's first Halloween event underway, called the Halloween Terror event, fans can enjoy tons of new spooky-themed content, from a new game mode to various spooky skins and tons of purchasable content from the game's store. As a part of this wave of content, Winston, the iconic Tank Hero of the overwatch crew, will be receiving a new Halloween skin for players to unlock.
So in this guide, we will be showing you how to unlock the new Werewolf Winston Legendary Skin, along with the Werewolf Winston Spray, in this year's Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror event.
How to Unlock Werewolf Winston in Overwatch 2
To earn the Werewolf Winston spray and skin, you must first connect your Overwatch 2 Battle.net account to your Twitch account. After this, you'll need to watch two hours of live Twitch channels in the Overwatch 2 category to get the Werewolf Winston spray.
And to get the Werewolf Winston Legendary skin, you'll need to watch for four hours. Note that you will need to do this before 2 PM ET on 1st November 2022 to qualify for the free skin and spray, so be sure to build up those hours quickly to get these free items.
On that note, you should know that watch time accumulates, so you can change channels without losing your progress. You don't have to watch everything all at once. You'll get the skin if you watch four hours of eligible streams over the next week (unless you've already unlocked it, of course).
Who can unlock the Werewolf Winston Legendary skin in Overwatch 2?
The Twitch drops are only available to players in specific regains, and this applies to the Werewolf Winston Legendary skin as well. North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand are among the participating regions.
Also, keep in mind that if you log into Overwatch 2 between now and the end of Season 1 on December 6, you'll get a free Health Pack Weapon Charm and the Legendary Skin Cursed Captain Reaper. These free items and skins are among the first of many that Blizzard is providing to players in an effort to make up for the significant launch issues over the past few weeks.
