Blizzard has announced their plans for Season 11 of Overwatch 2 with a new showcase trailer revealing all the upcoming content. This season will include a variety of exciting additions, such as a Kamen Rider-inspired battle pass and skins, a rework of the Colosseo map, and the introduction of the new Runasapi map. However, what has many fans particularly excited is the return of Quick Play: Hacked.
This mode is making a comeback with several updated mechanics and features. In the following sections, we will discuss everything we know about Quick Play: Hacked, which is returning in Season 11 of Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 Quick Play: Hacked Arrives In Season 11
Quick Play: Hacked was first introduced in January 2024 with "Quick Play: Hacked - Quicker Play," which replaced Quick Play for a weekend. This mode featured increased speed for various aspects such as respawn time, escort and robot movement, and objective capture time. Then we had "Quick Play: Hacked - Double Trouble," where teams could have up to two copies of each character.
Now, the mode will be returning in Season 11, and based on the short trailer clip we saw, it seems the theme this time is "Pickable Passives." Although the extent of the passives players will be able to choose from is unknown, the brief teaser indicates it will feature "role-based upgrades." The limited-time mode will launch on July 15, and Blizzard is expected to provide more details as we get closer to the date.
It's worth noting that Quick Play: Hacked has been an excellent way for developers to test unique and new features while adding a fun twist for Quick Play enthusiasts. Season 11 aims to continue this trend with the introduction of this new game mode.
As always, we will update you on the refined details of Quick Play: Hacked - Pickable Passives and role-based updates as soon as new information becomes available. So, stay tuned for more details on this and everything else coming in Season 11.
