Season 11 of Overwatch 2 is almost here, bringing a lot of new content. It's a great time to snag all the free content as soon as it becomes available. Among the new free items, we're particularly excited about the new Aztec Sombra skin.

If you're also interested in getting this skin and want to know how to obtain it, you're in the right place. Below, we'll explain exactly how to get the new Aztec Sombra skin for free in Overwatch 2.

How To Get Aztec Sombra Skin in Overwatch 2

Unlike many of the other skins and cosmetics coming to Season 11 of Overwatch 2, the Sombra Skin will be free for all players during the season, and getting it is fairly simple. To get the Aztec Sombra skin, players will need to play 40 games of Overwatch during Season 11. Games ending in wins count as double.

You can start your grind to get the skin on June 20th when the new season kicks off, and you have the entirety of Season 11 to complete your 40 games, so there's no need to rush. You won’t only get the skin, but also the entire bundle, which includes a weapon skin, a Name Card, and a Spray.

It should be noted that for the 40 games, matches in custom lobbies or Arcade modes will not count. You'll need to play through the unranked or competitive queues. So, make sure to load up some quick play or ranked play now and then to ensure you're progressing toward this skin if you typically play in custom lobbies.

Thankfully, getting through 40 games shouldn’t be too hard for most Overwatch 2 players, as you can easily build it up over time. Regardless of whether you win or not, you'll eventually get your hands on it. The Aztec Sombra skin itself was first introduced back in 2022, and with our breakdown on how to get it, there's never been a better time to get your hands on it than right now in Season 11 of Overwatch 2.
