How to beat Commander Ereshkigal in Outriders Worldslayer
You will be constantly moving in this battle (like most battles in Outriders), but this one in-particular demands you to consistently sprint and dodge your way around the battlefield. Not doing so would mean an untimely death.
We recommend equipping the Phantom Dash mod, which replaces your traditional painfully slow dodge, to overcome some of these fate-deciding encounters that we will discuss later.
Ereshkigal has three basic move sets, according to which you must change your tactics. The first one is where she floats around the battlefield and doesn't leave you many options for combat. Instead, you must patiently avoid her area of contact and wait for her to land.
While you can't consistently shoot at her when she's flying, you can find a moment to land at least a single shot from your sidearm before she takes flight to trigger status effects and do some elemental damage while you wait for her to land. We recommend equipping mods like Improved Burning Bullets to inflict Burn.
When she does eventually land, Ereshikgal will lunge toward you to deal some massive damage. If you have equipped the Phantom Dust mod, you will be available to quickly move out of the way and move in back to deal anomaly and gun damage of your own.
Whether you have the anomaly build, firepower build, or a hybrid of the two, as a Devastator, you would want to do close-range damage to Ereshkigal. Seismic skills like Earthquake alongside the mod Second Quake or Buckshot Shells for closed ranged Shotgun damage will help in depleting Ereshikgal's life bar at a relatively fast rate.
Her third and final move set is when she swirls up in the sky and starts shooting flying skulls toward you. This is probably the move set that would kill you time after time if you're not careful. If you're standing far from her, you can easily avoid these skull attacks altogether, but if you're right next to her, you must diligently dash and dodge to avoid dying.
This particular attack gets even more tricky when she throws these skulls in three different waves. You can avoid two of these and get hit in the third wave or vice versa, which is why we recommend using the Golem skill.
While Golem won't make you immune to these attacks, it will ensure that you endure and survive this devastating move set. Equipping the Perseverance mod will increase Golem's duration by 50%, whereas equipping the Resistance mod will increase your Resistance by 20% while the skill is active.
Halfway through the fight, Ereshikgal will start summoning her minions. The Earthquake skill will be your anomaly crowd controller, whereas weapon mods like Storm Whip will provide you firepower AOE.
Following the aforementioned steps and choosing the appropriate mods and skills for your Devastator class should help you defeat Ereshikgal with ease.
