Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is right around the corner, with the shocking announcement early in 2021 taking the fighting game community by surprise it seems the platform fighter is poised to succeed.
Putting some of Nick's most iconic characters front and centre in a fighting game has been done before, but never by a developer with the status of Ludosity, creators of Slap City, a Smash-like title that's very well-liked within the community.
With every preview and gameplay showcase, it seems Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will borrow heavily from the Smash franchise, with movement mechanics and overall combo structure functioning in the same way.
The game, which will be available on virtually every console on the market, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, will undoubtedly attract a huge crowd who are interested in seeing their childhood icons duke it out.

Fans have been wondering if the game will feature the ability to play with friends across different platforms, helping the longevity of the title by not splitting the player base.
Sadly, as of the time of writing, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl does not seem to feature crossplay, however, this has not been confirmed by the developers, thus giving fans a glimpse of hope.
