New Generation players take over NBA 2K22 with New Year's Resolution packs: New GO items, Auction listings, more.

Another year has gone by, and our love for basketball remains strong and likely will be part of our new year’s resolution to be able to play more hoops in 2022.

That would include real-life b-ball and some NBA 2K22 as well, and speaking of which, there is a couple more rewards and items arriving at MyTeam for one last effort to improve our squad.

The New Year’s Resolution packs and bundles are now live in MyTeam’s pack market with some brand new Galaxy Opal players to boost our team into a whole new tier.

More Galaxy Opal players arrive at packs, with Luka Doncic leading the New Year’s Resolution program

The first thing you should do is go to the pack market and buy some packs or bundles of the New Year´s Resolution special edition program, where each pack contains five items, with a chance to get an item from the program and even a chance to get an NBA75 vintage card.

You can buy each pack individually for 11,250 VC or 15,750 MT, or you can buy a 10-pack for 135,000 VC, which will represent a 10% savings against individual purchases. If you want to guarantee a player from the New Year’s edition, you can buy the deluxe pack for 15,000 VC or 21,000 MT.

Zion Williamson joins Luka Doncic as the newest Galaxy Opal players in NBA 2K22

Whether you prefer Luka’s scoring ability or Zion’s physicality as the newest Galaxy Opal player in your catalogue will depend on how much MT or VC are you willing to spend.

This is one of the situations that we cannot be certain if it will be easier to draw some pure luck and pull any of those items from packs or really break the piggy bank and try to snatch one from the auction house.

The latter will be rather expensive as any of those items are going for at least 500,000 MT coins, so pretty much you can pick your poison.
