Nearly two months after the release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Capcom has finally released the first batch of additional content called Title Update 1. This update was already confirmed in the roadmap for the Switch and PC game, but the new monsters that everyone could expect were largely kept under wraps.
Notably, the developers already teased variations of existing monsters like Nargacuga before they made official announcements. However, as of 10th August 2022, when the first Title Update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released, we now finally know every new monster we will take on in the game.
MHR Sunbreak Title Update 1 - All new monsters
There are four new monsters in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 1. The new monsters include Seething Bazelguese, Lucent Nargacuga, Silver Rathalos, and Gold Rathian.
Two of these were revealed in previous teasers, but Capcom only showed the other two monsters a day before their release. So while having four new monsters is always great news, expectations should be reigned in.

All four of the new additions are varied versions of existing monsters in Sunbreak. Nothing in Title Update 1 contains a brand-new beast to take down. Seething Bazelguese is the closest thing to a monster that is new and has not been experienced somewhere else. In that case, the variant of the beast is entirely unique.
Aside from the Bazelguese, the other three variants have had prior appearances. Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian were both in the recent Monster Hunter World game, among other titles. They have always been known as late-game variants that provide plenty of challenge.
While these four are the bread and butter of new monster content, they aren't technically the only addition to hunts. With some of the new Anomaly quests added through Title Update 1, some Afflicted monsters will join the overall roster.
At the start of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, there wasn't access to every high-level beast from the expansion. The only Afflicted beasts were the most common. Of course, they were still incredibly powerful. But as end-game content, there needed to be some much more dangerous challenges.
Lunagaron and Astalos are two monsters that will be part of the new Anomaly Investigations. They will be some of the toughest Afflicted challenges yet, and if you plan on completing the randomized investigations, you'll need to have your best setup ready.
