Mirthwood Closed Beta: Start & End Dates, Times And How To Join

The "enchanting RPG life" simulation game Mirthwood from developer Bad Ridge Games was confirmed to be delayed from its intended release this September to a November 2024 release. Requiring more time to work on core gameplay content and features before launch, the developer promised news and updates for their planned beta weekends, which they confirmed online.

The news was made on the official Mirthwood Discord server in which those interested can start preparing to join fellow players in a quest to "choose who they want to be." We've compiled all the relevant information for the Mirthwood Closed Beta weekend, including starting and end dates and times, sign-up details, and more.

Mirthwood Closed Beta Start & End Dates

Mirthwood developer Bad Ridge Games confirmed details for the first Closed Beta weekend after announcing the game's delay to November 2024. The developer stated in a post on their Discord server that they are promised to host beta weekends during this period leading up to the game's release, and the first weekend is right around the corner.

According to a new post uploaded to the Discord server, the first Closed Beta weekend will begin on 20th September 2024 at 3 pm PST / 6 pm EST / 10 pm UTC before concluding on 23rd September 2024 at 8 am PST / 11 am EST / 3 pm UTC. The developer has added that a complete list of all in-game features that players will have access to will be announced closer to the time and will be available via the Mirthwood Discord server.

How To Sign Up And Join The Mirthwood Closed Beta?

Players and content creators interested in participating in the game's Closed Beta weekend must meet a few requirements before getting gameplay access to Mirthwood during the dates and times mentioned above. Firstly, a "sign up form" will be posted to the game's Discord server, which all interested participants have between these dates to register:

• Mirthwood Closed Beta Registration Starting Dates & Times: 12th September 2024 at 8 am PST / 11 am EST / 3 pm UTC
• Mirthwood Closed Beta Registration End Dates & Times: 15th September 2024 at 10 pm PST and 1 am EST / 5 am UTC on 16th September 2024

Those who didn't get an opportunity or had missed the cut-off date and time will have to wait for the next Closed Beta weekend as "After that, no more sign-ups will be accepted," according to the developer. We cannot confirm the next Closed Beta weekend, but we'll update this page once the developer clarifies it.

Once the beta registration has ended, it's not known how players will be notified (via email or through Discord) if they've got access to the Closed Beta, so we'll update this page once more information can be provided by Bad Ridge Games ahead of time. It's more than possible that players will receive an email notification that will provide them with steps to follow to join the beta available for PC via Steam.

Regarding the features and content that players can explore and experience, "the main quest will be available on the beta test" as it's already in the base game, but it will cut off "up to a certain point" as they don't want to spoil players "before launch." For content creators who'll be livestreaming or producing videos from the Closed Beta weekend, they will be allowed to "stream or make content;" however, under the condition that their "audience understands that this is a beta test" and, therefore, doesn't reflect the final build that will be shipped to PC via Steam on 6th November 2024.
