“Spider-Man 2 is in the same ball-park as the first game in terms of overall playtime,” Ryan Smith, Insomniac Games' Senior Game Director, said in an interview with VG47 and that they don't want it to be "an 80-100 hour game."

This means that we can expect the main story to take about 15 to 20 hours to finish, and those who want to do everything and get the Platinum trophy must play for around 35 hours.
