Sell Groot or Rocket choice in Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has quite a bit of replay value, thanks to several choices and consequences players will have to make throughout its lengthy campaign. We've already provided players with a guide for the first significant choice between hiding the creature and the tech. Now, it's time to take a look at the consequences and rewards for another banger of a choice -- answering the question if you should sell Groot or Rocket. 

Sell Groot or Rocket - Consequences & rewards

Before we get to the consequences and rewards of this Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy choice, you should note there are spoilers below this image for Chapter 4 of the game.

With the spoiler warning out of the way, players will have a choice to either sell Groot or Rocket to Lady Hellbender during Chapter 4. 

At the start of Chapter 4, players will likely be very broke following a run-in with Nova Corps. That's why selling one of your teammates to Lady Hellbender might be very tempting.

Players are given the choice to either sell Groot or Rocket. Here's what happens depending on what choice you make.

Sell Groot choice and reward:

• Lady Hellbender will pay 10,000 units for Groot. If players let Drax handle the negotiation, they can get 12,000.
• Selling Groot will lead to a stealth section, where players will need to rescue the loveable character without waking up any enemies following a party.

Sell Rocket choice and reward:

• If you attempt to sell Rocket to Lady Hellbender, Rocket will do Rocket things and make her angry, causing her to attack the team.
• Following the failed negotiations, the Guardians of the Galaxy will run away, and in their escape attempt, break into a vault where you can get up to 12,000 units for your troubles. 

The choice is therefore if you want to have a bit of fun in the stealthy section when selling Groot, or the more explosive option by selling Rocket. Either way, you will have to fight Lady Hellbender.
