How Emotes Work In Spider-Man 2

You can use emotes in Spider-Man 2 by pressing the Square button. However, it only works when you're near an NPC, and in other cases, you will just be throwing punches in the air. Walk towards any NPC in NYC and press Square to interact with them. There aren't many varieties, so you will either wave to them, salute them, or do a hilarious dance move; all are absolutely endearing! 

It's not much, but it's a neat little way to interact with other NPCs in the world.
