How to unlock Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy New Game Plus mode

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix, gives gamers across the globe the opportunity to jump into the jet boots of Star-Lord, aka Peter Quill. It's an exciting prospect for any Marvel fan and judging by the game's achievements, it's going to be a massive experience. With choices and consequences, the game appears to have a lot of replay value. For those who enjoy the game but want to make other choices or play it again, we are happy to report Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy does have a New Game Plus mode.

Unlock New Game+ in Guardians of the Galaxy

Just like many other titles, players can easily unlock Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy New Game Plus mode.

You simply need to complete the story campaign to unlock the mode. From there,  you will be able to make different choices (or the same ones if you want) and enjoy the game again.

The New Game+ mode will feature "stronger enemies in more intense combat scenarios" according to the developer. However, there is also an option to keep the same difficulty and just replay the game with your more capable Guardians.

Players will be happy to know that all unlocks and abilities they've acquired throughout their first playthrough will carry over to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy New Game Plus mode.

It will be interesting to see just how much the New Game Plus mode ramps up the difficulty in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Some games get it right, while others tend to miss the mark when it comes to this type of game mode.
