Madden 22 has experienced its fair share of issues and then some since it launched on 20th August.
From game-breaking glitches in Franchise mode to players starting a petition to have the NFL change development studios for Madden, it’s been a rocky start for the newest football simulation title. However, the servers went down on the morning/afternoon of 26th August. This was scheduled maintenance that many players are hoping fixes some of the issues the game is currently facing.
Of course, some players who don’t keep up with Madden 22 on social media were concerned that the servers were down for another reason. This led to a flurry of searches and comments on social media wondering what was going on with the servers. If you fell into this crowd, don’t worry, as next time the servers go down, you can be prepared by knowing where to check for the most up-to-date information by reading below.
Checking the Madden 22 server status
The first step in checking to see if the servers have gone down is by checking the official Madden 22 Twitter account or their Direct Twitter account. Both documented the scheduled downtime that the game underwent on 26th August and players who were following the accounts knew exactly what was going on.
Server Maintenance is scheduled for 6:00 AM ET tomorrow, Thursday, August 26th.

📌Solo Battles will be gated at 5:00 AM ET and will unlock after maintenance is complete.
Please make sure to complete all games before maintenance begins.https://t.co/4lkEZJ1pDv
However, this tweet didn’t state how long this current scheduled maintenance will last. So even players that have been following the account didn’t know when the servers would be back online. This causes a problem for some fans, as they have a schedule themselves and need to know when the servers are going to be back up and running.
As of this moment, there are no ways to tell when the servers will come back online after they’ve gone offline. The Madden Twitter accounts are the main way players can find out but so far, they haven’t given a timeframe in their tweets. The maintenance on 26th August lasted for a few hours but the next time could be completely different.
Unfortunately, all players can do is keep an eye on the social media accounts to find out the status of the servers when they go down.
