Indiana “Froskurinn” Black has announced she’s stepping down from commentating the League of Legends European Championship.
Froskurinn's contract with Riot ended back in October last year, but now the caster has confirmed she won't be returning to the LEC in 2021.
Addressing her departure on Twitter, Froskurrin wrote: “I have decided not to re-sign with the LEC for the 2021 season.
“I cannot reveal the next steps yet, but I’ve always felt strongly about moving into management and development positions. I wish the LEC broadcast, teams, and fans the very best.”
I have decided not to re-sign with the LEC for the 2021 season. I cannot reveal the next steps yet, but I've always felt strongly about moving into management and development positions. I wish the LEC broadcast, teams, and fans the very best. I absolutely loved it there.❤️

Froskurinn started out as a colour commentator for the English broadcast of China’s LPL, before joining the LEC broadcast team in January 2019.
It’s unclear what her next move will be, although the announcement post implies she’ll be playing a key part behind the scenes on team development.
Her analysis and insight alongside caster Daniel “Drakos” Drakos will be sorely missed among LEC fans however, with the pairing becoming a fan favourite over the past couple years.
The LEC 2021 Spring Split will begin on 22nd January.
