Horizon Forbidden West is a massive open-world game that offers plenty of substantial content to keep you busy for hours. Even the first major region of the game, The Daunt, is brimming with side missions and various collectables.
While exploring The Daunt region of Horizon Forbidden West, you may encounter tall structures that serve as the perfect vantage point to scout the nearby areas and soak in the incredible vistas of the Forbidden West.
These towers are called Signal Towers, and at the top of every one of them, you will find these mysterious Signal Lenses. This guide will explain everything you need to know about Signal Lenses in Horizon Forbidden West.
How to find Signal Lenses in Horizon Forbidden West
There are six Signal Towers in The Daunt, each containing a Signal Lense. They are part of the errand quest called "Signals of the Sun," so if you happen to find any of these signal lenses before starting this quest, hold on to them until you do.
To start the "Signals of the Sun" quest, you have to find Raynah, the Daughter of the man who designed these towers.
You will find her South of the Chainscrape or South-West of The Daunt Relic Ruin. As soon as you approach her location, you will find a Carja Soldier trying to drag a body. Talk to him, and you will hear someone screaming for help from the top of a nearby cliff. That's Raynah.
Once you find Raynah, she will tell you about her fascination with Signal Lenses and that she will pay you handsomely if you retrieve them for her.
Right next to Raynah is one of the Signal Towers. Retrieving the Signal Lens from this tower, which is called "Lens of Evening," and giving it to Raynah will complete the "Signals of the Sun" quest and mark the locations of the remaining Signal Towers in the region.
All Signal Lenses in Horizon Forbidden West
Besides the Lens of Evening, there are five other Signals Lenses, including the Lens of Dawn, Lens of Morning, Lens of Midday, Lens of Afternoon, and Left of Twilight.
There are no prerequisites to climbing and retrieving these Signal Lenses except for the Lens of Afternoon, which requires the completion of a side quest called "The Twilight Path."
Once you have collected the Signal Lenses, go back to Raynah in Barren Light, and she will reward you with Metal Shards, Bronze Ingots, Greenshine Slivers, and Dune Shadow Dye.
