All Aerial Capture Locations in Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores

The Burning Shores DLC for Horizon Forbidden West offers a plethora of new content for gamers to enjoy. Additionally, players who put in extra effort to explore all the game's content will be rewarded with new trophies. One of these trophies involves Aloy, the game's protagonist, collecting Aerial Captures scattered across the map.

Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores Aerial Capture Locations

The way you find Aerial captures is that you'll first need to find a transmitter that is leaking a coordinate. Finding this and activating it will lead you on a flying path that you can follow to find the Aerial Capture. The latter part is automatic, so all you need to do is find the clues, and they will lead you to the capture. 

Once you discover all the captures, the achievement and trophy called "Recovered All Aerial Captures" will be automatically given to you. So, without wasting any more time, let us dive straight into the guide on how to locate each of them.

Aerial Capture - Location 1: 

The first Aerial capture can be found by heading to the east side of the island on a small beach bordering the forest area before the end of the map. Simply fly east and use your Focus ability to help you find the clue that will lead you to it. 

After interacting with the clue, follow the coordinates until you need to fly along a long path around Pangea Park. This will all be automatic, so just follow the directions until you get to the first Aerial Capture. 

Aerial Capture - Location 2: 

The second location you'll be heading to is in the center of the map towards the northeast side. Once you're here, search for the clue and it will lead you to the second Aerial Capture. 

Aerial Capture - Location 3: 

The third clue will be located on the northern side of the map, almost on its northern edge. Here you'll find the clue underneath a tree-like structure that's standing on a cliff. You can then follow it to find the next Aerial capture. 

Aerial Capture - Location 4: 

The fourth location is on the northwest side of the island, on the small land mass just in front of the lava that's running into the ocean. You can see it more clearly in the image above, and you'll find it inside a radio-looking tower that you'll have to break into. 

Aerial Capture - Location 5: 

This Aerial capture is on the far west side of the island, nearby the two campfires that are there. Here you'll encounter the Stormbird that will need to be defeated before you can continue.

After defeating it, you'll come across a building on the far west side of the small area you're in. Inside the building is the fifth Aerial Capture clue. 

Aerial Capture - Location 6: 

The final Areal capture is unlocked and will be marked on your map once you unlock the other 5 captures. It's in the center of the map, and you can simply head over there to begin the final chase for the capture. And once complete, you'll obtain the "Recovered All Aerial Captures" trophy.
