How to Trigger an Emergency in Honkai Star Rail Swarm Disaster

Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe: The Swarm Disaster is a challenging mode for late-game players meant to challenge not only your characters but your Relics, Light Cones, teambuilding skills, and more. The Swarm Disaster can be very difficult for those venturing through each Simulation without prior knowledge of enemy mechanics or optimal Blessings. 

Thankfully, there are tons of available goodies to help you in your journey. Whether it be the Path Resonance for choosing multiple Blessings of the same type, Resonance Interplay for mixing up your Blessing selection, or all the new Curios, dedicated Trailblazers should be able to tackle the highest difficulty after a few runs or so. 

Players will want to challenge this mode as much as possible in order to complete the Trial of Pathstrider missions. These will unlock rewards and buffs to help you in your future runs. 

Emergencies are an integral part of The Swarm Disaster and an aspect not explained in the tutorial.

Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe: The Swarm Disaster - How To Trigger Emergency

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this, there is no dedicated way to trigger emergencies in the Swarm Disaster. The only way to trigger emergencies is by playing through the event and encountering them at random. 

Players will need to be playing a minimum of difficulty level 3 in order to make these emergencies appear, so reaching this milestone should be a priority for players. 

Additionally, there is no way to trigger a specific emergency. These emergencies are related to the Swarm itself and will often reward players with Blessings of Propagation and other rewards. 

It is recommended to challenge these emergencies even if you know your run will wipe, similar to choosing new Blessings that appear in the option select even if they do not correspond to your current path. Unlocking all of them will take some time, so grabbing an unclaimed emergency will ensure, even if your run fails, that you get some benefit out of it. It will also allow players to grind new Propagation Blessings for similar rewards (Stellar Jade).
