Honkai Star Rail: Survival Wisdom Quest Guide

There is a ton of side quests for players to complete in Honkai Star Rail, and there is a massive incentive for players to do so. Honkai Star Rail constantly rewards Trailblazers for wandering off the beaten path with fun dialogue interactions, tough boss battles, and rare items to collect. One such side quest is the Survival Wisdom quest which takes place in the Great Mine. 

This side quest can be a little tricky for those caught unawares, but that's where we come in! This article will cover everything you need to know in order to complete the Survival Wisdom Quest in Honkai Star Rail!

Honkai Star Rail: Survival Wisdom Quest Guide

To initiate this quest, players must be at least Trailblaze level 14, have progressed far enough in the story to have completed the Trailblaze Mission "Lying in Rust," and have access to the Great Mine. Once all these conditions are met, players will eventually receive a text message from Sampo asking them for help.  

Head to the Great Mine, and Sampo will explain that he needs you to help find two mining tools he has misplaced somewhere in the Great Mine. He will then hand you a map and tell you to track down the Thermal-Powered Mechanical Mining Pick and the Customized Pink Safety Helmet. 

Unfortunately, the map only gives a general area of where these items might be, meaning players will need to search for them manually. 

The Thermal-Powered Mechanical Mining Pick can be found without much issue. Simply head to the marked location, and you should spot it surrounded by pickaxes on a metal girder. 

The Customized Pink Safety Helmet has, unfortunately, been stolen, and players will need to battle the perpetrator in the marked area in order to retrieve it. Once you've collected both items, head back to Sampo, and he will give you a treasure map as a reward. However, this map is a fake. 

Navigate through the enemies, and your reward will be the Anti-Dusk Mask which has no in-game use. Confronting Sampo for one last time will award you the real treasure map.

Make your way to the marked area and interact with the glowing spot on the ground. This will reveal the real treasure chest, which contains 30 Stellar Jade, and 30 Trailblaze EXP, and will award you with the "Greedy Psychology" achievement.
