This results in a lot of players being stuck at Trailblaze Level 20 and unable to progress. By this point in the main story, the enemies will be too strong for Level 20 characters to defeat. In order to move past this point, players will need to increase their Equilibrium Level. 

After reaching Level 20, players will be given the chance to increase their Equilibrium Level for the first time. The equilibrium Level in Honkai Star Rail is similar to World Level in Genshin Impact. This level determines the strength and stats of the enemies you face off against in the overworld but also increases the rarity and amount of rewards you receive while farming.
