Argenti should be arriving in Honkai Star Rail 1.5 as an Erudition Path character. Erudition is in much need of some new characters, as Jing Yuan is considered by many to be below the gold standard of other top-tier DPS units. 

Argenti is a Physical Path five-star character that many players may want to add to their team if they are in need of a farming character or a Physical DPS.

Players should likely wait and see before pulling for Argenti. First and foremost, it should be stated that players are free to pull for any characters they want. This is especially true in Honkai Star Rail, which does not feature any kind of PVP. This means players do not need to pull for the most powerful units in order to remain competitive. 

As mentioned, Erudition characters have not been the best in Honkai Star Rail thus far. Destruction characters seem to satisfy any AOE needs a player may have, while Hunt characters can deal with single targets far better. Erudition is a weird middle-ground that has yet to prove its worth. Many players pulled for Jing Yuan and now regret it.
