Hook's Gift is the last part of Hook's Companion Mission. Once all of the required Hook missions have been completed, players will receive a message advertising an auction. The quest will begin the second you finish reading the message.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to complete Hook's Gift in Honkai Star Rail

1. First, navigate to Boulder Town and speak with the auction staff. They will explain briefly how the auction will take place. 
2. Speak with Hook and relay the information you found about the Auction. 
3. Speak with Natasha and acquire the teddy bear. 
4. Navigate to the Jarilo-VI Robot Settlement and speak with the Auctioneer.
5. Speak with three potential buyers. They are labeled as the Reticent Vagrant, the Gemologist, and the Weird Man. 
6. Speak with the Auctioneer yet again and wait for the auction to conclude. 
7. Speak with the auction staff, who will explain that the auction has been put on hold because one of the items, the Geomarrow Probe, has been stolen. 
8. Speak with the auction staff yet again, who will give you more details about the Miner. 
9. Navigate to Boulder Town and interact with the Suspicious Miner to initiate a battle.
10. Obtain the Geomarrow Probe. 
11. After defeating the Suspicious Miner, return the Geomarrow Probe to the auction staff. 
12. Purchase the Geomarrow Probe for 750 Shields (technically 550, as you will receive 200 Shields as a reward for returning it.)
13. Return to Natasha's Clinic and wrap the gift. 
14. Give the Geomarrow Probe to Fersman to complete the quest.
