Which Five-Star Character Should You Choose At Standard Warp 300 Pulls?

Honkai Star Rail has a ton of unique and interesting characters for players to acquire. Most of the fan-favorite characters, like Kafka, Blade, Luocha, and Silver Wolf, can only be pulled on the Event-Limited Warps during their specific rate-up period. However, alongside this rotating cast of shiny new characters comes the seven Standard Warp five-star characters.

These are characters that are available all the time and have a chance to "spook" your rolls when you hit the first soft pity at 90 pulls. Getting all of these characters is arguably even more difficult than getting a limited character because these seven Standard characters do not have any kind of rate-up or guarantee. 

Thankfully, HoYoverse has provided players with a way to grab at least one of these Standard Warp characters in the form of a guaranteed pull once you hit 300 summons on the Standard Warp. Which Five-Star Character Should You Choose At Standard Warp 300 Pulls?

As mentioned, there are seven characters players can choose from after reaching 300 pulls. These are: 

• Himeko
• Welt
• Bronya
• Gepard
• Clara
• Yanqing
• Bailu

It should be stated that all of these characters can add a substantial amount of power to your account, and choosing any one of them would not be a bad choice. That being said, which character you choose will depend on the state of your account after reaching 300 pulls. This will likely take up to a year for free-to-play players to achieve, and the state of your account will likely look a lot different a year down the road. Here are some recommendations:

Bronya

Bronya is the most obvious choice for this selection. She is currently one of the best, if not the best, support characters in the game and can increase the strength of your DPS character immensely. 

Gepard

Gepard is an all-around great tank and one that a lot of people have slept on. He can provide massive shielding for your team. 

Bailu

Healers are currently very scarce in Honkai Star Rail, making Bailu an excellent pickup. It's unclear whether she will be just as valuable in the future.

Clara

Clara is a great Simulated Universe carry character, and no one is really able to solo that kind of content as she can. If you are struggling to complete Simulated Universe, she might be just what you need.

As mentioned, all of these characters are good to pick up, with the only outlier being Himeko, who is probably the worst character to choose. She isn't terrible but requires a lot of investment for not much payout.
