Honkai Star Rail 1.3 New Stagnant Shadows Guide: Enemies, Materials, & More

Honkai Star Rail is all about collecting characters, powering them up, and taking them into various forms of difficult content. There are tons of ways to increase the strength of your units, whether you level up their skills, equip them with different gear, or increase their Eidolon levels. 

Another way to increase the combat power of your characters is by Ascending them. Ascending characters are required to increase their overall level and will provide a huge boost to their overall power level. In order to Ascend characters, players will need to collect Ascension Materials by challenging various Stagnant Shadows across the world of Honkai Star Rail.

These Stagnant Shadows will provide different items depending on the character's path you want to Ascend. In Honkai Star Rail 1.3, two new Stagnant Shadows will be added to the game. So, if you are curious to learn more, you've come to the right place.

Two new Stagnant Shadows will be coming to Honkai Star Rail in patch 1.3. We will cover all the information you need to know about these Stagnant Shadows below. Shape of Puppetry

• Drops: Suppressing Edict
  • Parts used in the Xianzhou ingenium technology. Can be used for the Ascension of Imaginary characters.
• Boss: Aurumaton Gatekeeper
• Required Trailblaze Power: 30
• Example characters that require these materials: Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae

Shape of Abomination

• Drops: Nail of the Ape
  • Remnant of an Abundance Sprite. Can be used for the Ascension of Quantum characters. 
• Boss: Malefic Ape
• Required Trailblaze Power: 30
• Example characters that require these materials: Fu Xuan

It is unknown how often new Stagnant Shadows will be released, but it definitely does make it a lot harder to pre-farm materials before a unit releases.
