343 Industries have been making considerable efforts to change the current progression of Halo Infinite’s Battle Pass since they launched the game’s multiplayer. While players have criticised how tedious the grind is, some have called the Battle Pass an “awful” experience.
With all the recent changes that have been made to the Battle Pass, there’s no denying that there are plenty of amazing cosmetic items you can unlock through the Battle Pass or by purchasing them from the in-game shop. One cosmetic item has many discussing online which allows your Spartan to don cat ears on their Spartan helmet.
Here’s how you can acquire these adorable cat ears for your Spartan to rock during multiplayer matches.
How to get the cat ears helmet in Halo Infinite?
The Purrfect Audio is a helmet attachment that’s part of the Cat Lovers cosmetic set. This cosmetic set is currently available via the in-game shop for a whopping 1,000 Halo Credits. According to the Microsoft Store, 1,000 Halo Credits is equivalent to $9.99 if you wish to get your hands on this feline helmet.
To purchase the Purrfect Audio helmet attachment, head to the in-game store where you can find the Cat Lovers cosmetic set bundle. The helmet isn’t available separately so you will have to get the entire set if you want the helmet attachment.
Once you have processed the transaction, you should be able to find the helmet attachment under the Customize tab and select Body & AI to equip the cat ears. Together with the Purrfect Audio helmet attachment, this cosmetic set also includes the following items:
- Faded Blush Epic Armor Coating (Mark VII)
- Rare Tabby Charm
- Epic Kat Charm
As of writing, there is no word on how long this cosmetic item will be available via the -in-game shop as it refreshes every Tuesday at 10 am PT / 6 pm GMT. Additionally, it appears that there isn’t a similar cosmetic item available via the Battle Pass nor the current Winter Contingency event, where players can earn free rewards by playing a multiplayer match daily.

Regardless of the success of the Cat Lovers’ cosmetic set, it's clear that the developer wants to make massive changes to Halo Infinite's microtransaction model overall. This could potentially see more free cosmetics being made available to players through multiplayer or limited-time events like the Winter Contingency just by playing.
