The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta had a successful launch on Monday and with it, the first official competitive season launched as well.
Speaking purely about gameplay, the reactions are almost overwhelmingly positive, as the community enjoy the game's explosive arena shooter mechanics, fun and engaging gunplay, and slick movement.
On the other hand, criticism is directed towards things like the game's painfully slow battle pass progression, and the inability to choose a Slayer-only playlist.
These are all things that can be easily fixed though, and developers have already confirmed that they "are looking into" the battle pass system.
The important thing is that the foundation for a great shooter is there, and we have no doubt that the game will only get improved as time passes by.
Players will have plenty of time to grind through the Season 1 battle pass, and not just that - it has been confirmed that during the first season there will be plenty of free limited-time events with additional rewards, the first one being the Fracture: Tenrai event.
Let's see what we currently know about it.
When does Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai start?
The first Halo Infinite event, Fracture: Tenrai, is scheduled to kick off on 23rd November and will run for one week - ending on Tuesday, 30th November. The exact start and end times are yet to be revealed.
If for some reason you will not be able to play the game during the course of this event, don't worry, developers have confirmed that the Fracture: Tenrai event will return on several occasions during Season 1, which will last until May 2022.
Rewards
The main prize for participating in this event is the magnificent Yoroi (Samurai) armour, which players can unlock just by completing the event-based challenges and playing the game.
Boasting this awesome armour is already a good enough reason to progress through the event pass, but there will be more free rewards, about which developers will talk more as we get closer to the event.
That's all we currently know about the Fracture: Tenrai event, but we will update the article once we learn more about how to unlock the Yoroi (Samurai) armour, which challenges you will need to complete to progress through the event, and all other details.
