Sony Santa Monica's God of War: Ragnarok is finally coming to PC on September 19 and is available for pre-purchase now on Steam and the Epic Game Store.
There's not a whole lot to say, but the trailer (seen below) did confirm that the game will feature unlocked frame rates, super ultrawide monitor support, a range of upscaling options (Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XESS), and will also include the Valhalla DLC.
As pointed out by VGC, a blog post from PlayStation did confirm that a PlayStation Network account is required to play.
Back in 2022, GINX gave God of War: Ragnarok a 4/5 in our review, writing:
"God of War Ragnarok is the best-written AAA game since 2010's Red Dead Redemption. From a narrative and cinematic point of view, it's a worthy, satisfying, and an immensly emotional conclusion to Kratos' 17 years long journey that leaves the window open just enough for an eventual sequel. However, it's also important to acknowledge the fact that it's constantly bogged down by a redundant open-ended playground and repetitive combat that constantly feels inadequate compared to everything else the game has to offer."
