Genshin Impact Sorush: How To Get & Use

Genshin Impact 3.6 update brought brand new mechanisms into the game along with a new companion called Sorush, a Pari that will lend its abilities to Travelers and will let them fly to places where you can't reach by foot. You will get Sorush as a gadget, and here is how you can unlock it and where you will be able to use it.

How to Unlock Sorush in Genshin Impact

You will be able to get Sorush during the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest and to begin it, you will have to go to the location of the teleport waypoint marked in the map below and unlock it. 

Once done, you will be asked to search for the strange object that you will find inside the bush next to the teleport waypoint. After that, complete a dialogue with Paimon and go to the next marked location on the map to talk to Katheryne. 

After completing the dialogue, the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest will begin, and you will have to go to Temir Mountains (location will be marked on the map). There you will have to talk to the person outside the camp and fight him. After beating him, Sorush will appear, and dialogue will initiate. Complete the dialogue and follow Sorush. 

On your way, you will encounter some enemies, and after beating them, talk to Sorush again and keep following it. You will then come across Gray Crystals that you will have to destroy by using the power of Khvarena, and you can follow our separate guide if you don't know how to do it.

After destroying the crystals, a new path will be revealed. Go through it to the training grounds of the Order of Skeptics at the location marked on the map. Once you reach there, you will have to talk to a person, and after completing the dialogue, Sorush will unlock automatically. 

How to Use Sorush in Genshin Impact

In order to use Sorush, you can go to your inventory and then the gadgets tab to equip it. Upon activating, it will replace your character to fly and move, and your character will stay at a place waiting for it to return. 

You will be able to ascend, descend or accelerate Sorush using its skill; however, keep in mind that you can't go too far from your character. Sorush can use its abilities to move special four-leaf sigils that will be red-colored, and apart from this, you can use it to activate Fravashi Trees. 

Sorush can also be used to get Plumes of Purifying Light, as you will not be able to collect it with your character. You can find the exact locations of all 36 Plumes of Purifying Light in our dedicated guide.

You can also use it to extract Burgeoning Spirit's energy to get a chest that you can open up to get free rewards.

It can also remove shiny orange crystals by getting Nirodha Fruit, which will help you progress in various quests.

Lastly, you can Sorush can be used to reveal and collect Monument Fragments that will not be visible without it.
