Everything Announced In Genshin Impact 3.0 Livestream

HoYoverse is gearing up to release Genshin Impact's next region, Sumeru, and a batch of fresh new faces appearing in the 3.0 update, detailed in the latest Special Program livestream. The developer is introducing the Dendro element, as Travelers will be welcomed to the new region with plenty of exciting new events.

In addition to all the amazing content coming soon, there are plenty of Redemption Codes to redeem in-game to earn Primogems and Mora. For those who can't watch it on Twitch, here's everything announced during the 3.0 Special Program livestream, including the new region, characters, events, banners, and more.

Everything Revealed In Genshin Impact 3.0 Livestream

HoYoverse hosted the 3.0 Special Program livestream via Genshin Impact's Twitch channel on 13th August 2022 at 8 am (UTC-4). The live programming event gave Travelers an in-depth look at the upcoming 3.0 update, The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings, and if you've missed the livestream, a VOD will be available on their YouTube channel.

[12:57 PM GMT] The third Redemption Code has gone live, Travelers!

[12:53 PM GMT] The HoYo-Mix featuring orchestral and folk music from Sumeru will be compiled in an OST album called "Footprints of the Travelers."

[12:43 PM GMT] The developer treats us to a symphonic performance of music from the Sumeru region.

[12:41 PM GMT] HoYoverse has revealed the schedules for future updates, including 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 updates. The 3.0 update will release on 24th August 2022.

[12:41 PM GMT] The Character Event Wish banners have been confirmed. In Phase 1, we will see Tighnari and Collei appear, with Zhongli getting a rerun.

Phase 2 will feature Dori with Ganyu and Kokomi receiving reruns.

[12:40 PM GMT] There will be another Ley Line Overflow event planned for the 3.0 update.

[12:39 PM GMT] The Tablet Analytics and Lost Riches events are announced.

[12:37 PM GMT] Fayz Trails is the next event revealed by the developer. A team will be put together to enter a domain where you can utilize a special potion for a unique combat experience.

[12:36 PM GMT] A new item, Whimsical Drafts, can be used to exchange at the shop for Carving Components. Assemble the parts to produce a furnishing item.

[12:32 PM GMT] The Graven Innocence event has been revealed. Team up with Collei to collect inspiration for toymakers at a toy store through snapshots, combat gameplay, and racing for rewards.

Complete the event's tutorial to invite Collei for free to your team. You can also learn more about the character during this event.

[12:31 PM GMT] The second Redemption Code has been revealed for Travelers to redeem.

[12:31 PM GMT] The Jadeplume Terrorshroom and the Electro Regisvine are some of the region's new bosses, with more variations of Ruin bosses appearing.

[12:28 PM GMT] New weapons and artifacts have been revealed!

[12:25 PM GMT] Tighnari, Collei, and Dori's combat kit is showcased, including his Elemental Skill, Burst, and Exploration Talent.

[12:24 PM GMT] The Dendro Traveler, Tighnari, and Collei are the only characters in the 3.0 update who will wield the Dendro element in combat.

[12:21 PM GMT] More members from HoYoverse's development team now discuss the region's immaculate game design, both the rainforest and desert areas, featured in several Sumeru Teaser videos.

[12:19 PM GMT] The first Redemption Code is up and available to use in-game.

[12:17 PM GMT] Dori is the third character the dev team introduces. A Traveling Merchant, Dori will have some incredible goods to trade, but her asking prices are relatively high!

[12:16 PM GMT] The development team noted that while Sumeru City is prosperous, it will be slightly tricky to navigate around, including the Divine Tree. There are plenty of POIs to visit in the city, including the Adventurers' Guild, Zubayr Theater, and Puspa Café.

[12:14 PM GMT] Collei is the next character introduced by the developer. Known from the manga, Collei is a "Trainee Forest Ranger, as she works directly alongside Tighnari as a subordinate and student.

[12:13 PM GMT] Tighnari will receive a Story Quest, Vulpes Zerda Chapter: Act 1, arriving in the 3.0 update.

[12:11 PM GMT] The Verdant Strider, Tighnari is the first Sumeru-based character introduced. A Sumeru researcher who has made the Avidya Forest his home alongside fellow Forest Rangers.

[12:07 PM GMT] A member of the development team joins to discuss the production behind Sumeru.

[12:06 PM GMT] The Genshin Impact 3.0 update will be called The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings.
