On July 13, two Genshin Impact voice actors, Corina Boettger (voice of Paimon) and Brandon Winckler (voice of Kazuha's Friend, Bandits, and more), claimed that they haven't been paid for the work that they have done for a big project and the amount is thousands of dollars. While Corina didn't name the game directly, Brandon revealed that this is regarding Genshin Impact, although they "don’t know if this is the fault of the studio or the game company.”
After a fifth email with no response, This is regarding Genshin Impact. Inexcusable for us as actors to be waiting 4+ months for pay when you make $86 million per month. Unfortunately, this is not an uncommon problem- (thread) https://t.co/BPBW3WibG9

HoYoverse has now responded to this matter officially to Marco Wutz from Video Games that you can have a look at below:
“We truly regret to learn about the ongoing situation. Genshin Impact values and respects the work and effort of everyone involved, and we support our voice actors to claim their proper due. We have made payments to our recording studio on time, and we immediately urged the studio to pay our voice actors from our past payment. Meanwhile, we are also seeking alternative solutions. And we will keep you posted on further developments.”
From the above statement, it looks like the recording studio called Formosa Group is at fault, as Brandon also works with Studio Rocket Sound for Honkai: Star Rail, and they love working with them, so it seems like there is no such issue on that end.
RS? Love them!!!
